17 days 2800 EURO - Full visit of the island from east to west - Day 1-2: Bucharest - Havana Flight Bucharest / Havana
Day 3: Havana - Soroa Visit the historical center by foot. In the afternoon we leave for Sierra de Rosario in Pinal del Rio province. We reach a mountain landscape full of greenery, decorated with waterfalls and rivers, forming natural pools ideal for swimming. Accommodation in Soroa.
Day 4: Pinar del Río - Vinales After breakfast we leave for town Pinal del Rio where we visit a cigar factory and a tobacco-growing farm. Here you can buy quality cigars. Around noon we arrive in superb Vinales Valley. The first stop will be at a panorama place from where you can admire the breathtaking view. Optional in the afternoon, we can rent bikes or horses to visit the area. Accomodation in Vinales
Day 5: Vinales - Havana After breakfast we visit the Cueva del Indio, a spectacular cave crossed by an underground river. After cave we return to Havana, stopping at Marina Hemingway. In theafternoon or evening we can visit Fort San Carlos chalet, where every day at 9:00 pm takes place the "Ceremony del Canonazo" event. Accommodation in Havana.
Day 6: Baracoa In the morning we fly to Baracoa, in eastern extreme of the island. Here we will enjoy the natural beauty of the area, caused by rivers that roll clear of the coast mountains thru the tropical vegetation, shedding again in the Atlantic. You can make various excursions on foot, by boat or on horseback. Accomodation in Baracoa.
Day 7: Baracoa, Guantanamo, Santiago de Cuba In the morning we board the bus that will accompany the rest of the trip to return to Havana. The road from Baracoa to Santiago is very spectacular, first crossing mountains and then will outline the Caribbean coast to Guantanamo (from a belvedere can even see the famous American base). Accommodation in Santiago de Cuba.
Day 8: Santiago de Cuba In the morning we visit the historic city of Santiago de Cuba. Then we climb the highest point in the area, "La Gran Piedra" where on clear days you can see even Jamaica. Hiking in the mountains to the old coffee plantations hidden in the woods. Optionally we can serve lunch on Cayo Granma island fishing in the bay of Santiago de Cuba. After lunch we go to Santo Domingo, in the heart of the Sierra Maestra mountains. Accommodation in Santo Domingo community.
Day 9: Trekking in Sierra Maestra mountains Alto del Naranjo transfer of land vehicles. Hike to Comandancia rebel army in Sierra Maestra. Besides revolutionary historical significance of the area we enjoy unique beauty of these mountains. In the afternoon we go to Bayamo, picturesque town where it was first composed and sang the Cuban national anthem "La Bayamesa". Accommodation in Bayamo.
Day 10: Camaguey - UNESCO Heritage Transfer to Camaguey. Visit the historic, heritage of humanity (optional with the traditional "bicitaxi"). Accommodation in Camaguey.
Day 11: Playa Coco - Trinidad In morning, "Vamos a la Playa", because we also need a little relaxation, right? In the afternoon we continue our way to Trinidad. Accommodation in Trinidad.
Day 12: Trinidad - UNESCO Heritage Tour of the most beautiful and picturesque town in Cuba. Trinidad classified World Heritage by UNESCO has an exciting history, pirates, corsairs and other adventurers from around the world tying the existence of these places. Afternoon visit to the valley of Los Ingenious (even possibly by horse if you wish). Accommodation in Trinidad
Day 13: Cayo Blanco Back to the beach, where fans can swim around coral reefs. Optionally from here we can make a day trip to to the beautiful island Cayo Blanco, with catamaran boat. Accommodation in Trinidad.
Day 14: Topes Collantes Natural Park - Cienfuegos - Playa Larga In the morning, we leave by road vehicles to Topes de Collantes mountains. Walk through pine forests and coffee plantations. We visit the Batata cave which is crossed by a river, and for those brave enough, a cave bath. Afternoon transfer to Cienfuegos, world heritage, a charming town with provincial atmosphere. In the evening we arrive at Playa Larga, a picturesque village in the Bay of Pigs. Here is one of the few places in the world where you can have at dinner exotic crocodile meat. Accommodation at Playa Larga.
Day 15: Cueva de los Pesces - Laguna del Tesoro - Havana In the morning we go to a place of rare beauty, where we can both snorkeling in the clear waters of a collapsed cave, and in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Then we visit a lagoon, which combines breathtaking landscapes, with the possibility of seeing ferocious crocodiles in their natural environment. In the evening we get back to Havana where we enjoy a vibrant night life.
Day 16-17: Havana - Bucharest Free program. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
